Thank you to all who attended and participated in the Custer Ave Capacity Relief Multi-Benefit Project Public Meeting #1! Over 35 residents and stakeholders attended the event on March 21st held at the Barack and Michelle Obama Academy and provided the team with valuable perspectives, input, and guidance on the project that will help shape the design and amenities of the greenspace for this project. Please review the results of the Greenspace Design and Amenities boards from the Custer Ave Capacity Relief Multi-Benefit Project Public Meeting #1 . The results of these boards will help the project team to create design options for the new greenspace on the project site that will be shared out as preliminary options at the next public meeting. INITIAL PROJECT PUBLIC OVERVIEW MEETING

The initial project overview meeting with the community on September 13, 2023, served as a pivotal starting point for engaging residents and stakeholders in the project's development. During this meeting, the DWM introduced the project's initial goals, scope, and timeline, while also providing an opportunity for community members to share their concerns, priorities, and aspirations. The presentation requested by the community at the most recent Public Meeting on March 21, 2024 reflects the ongoing commitment to transparency and collaboration, ensuring that community voices are heard and their input continues to shape the project's evolution.
